This is my second post today. Please scroll down for my DeNami Blog Hop card.
I would never have thought to do two-tone stamping like Melissa shows in the PTI MIM video. Really wanted to give it a try & had an idea in mind that I just couldn't get to work. Time is running out & finally a card went together after much stamping on scratch paper! My stamps are PTI Rosie Posie & Heart-2-Heart #2. The inks are Versafine Smokey Gray, VersaMagic Malted Mauve, Brilliance Pearlescent Coral, Pearlescent Thyme & Pearlescent Lime. I plan to keep trying this technique with other stamps & colors. One more day to work & then a couple days off. I'll get caught up on your blogs & work on the post to show all the entries for my blog anniversary challenge and announce the winners. I loved stamping long before I had a computer, but the addition of on-line crafty friends has made this hobby even better! Thank you all!
What a gorgeous CAS design! I love the pearls and the soft CS colors...lets the two-tone colors in that fab flower pop!

ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely beautiful! Love the design, the colors (especially how they blended together in the flowers), and those pearls.
ReplyDeleteLovely card. Your flowers turned out great. i stamp on scratch paper a lot before doing a final image. That works for me. Love the pearls too.
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! And of course I love that rounded corner. I actually made a card for your challenge but never had time to post it.
ReplyDeleteYour two tone flowers are so pretty, greta! I tried to make something for the MIM challenge, but couldn't make anything work.
ReplyDeleteGreta ~ all your 'practice' stamping on scratch paper is rewarded with this gorgeous card you've created. Warm, soft colours, pretty flowers, and those pearls ~ exquisite! Thank you for sharing and letting me know that even the 'experts' - like you - have to do things more than once (or in my case more than twice, thrice...)

So pretty, love how you have shaded the flowers
ReplyDeleteFabulous balance of the colorful flowers in the lower right corner and the rounded corner and pearls in the upper left. Very striking on the gray cardstock!
