Printed Paper Easter Eggs

The Emphasize the Negative Challenge
Moxie Fab World Challenge
This card isn't going very far, so I still have time to mail it.  I'm not very good at using my printed papers--maybe that's why I have so many stacks of it!  I got several of the coordinating sheets of Flower Patch by MM a couple years ago & I had used a little.  Decided it's time to use it again--love these soft prints.  I started by die-cutting the eggs with my Memory Box dies & purposely placed the die so I would have panels with the negative die cut that I could use.  The filigree layer is cut from the pink dotted paper & is sprayed with Therm-O-Web Glimmer Mist--can't tell in the picture.  The twine is Martha Stewart & the sentiment is Inkadinkado.  I'm entering the Moxie Fab World Emphasize the Negative challenge.  Thanks for stopping by.  I so appreciate your support.

  3. I love the way you used the positives and negatives to make this card Greta. The paper is so cheerful, and the filigree reminds me of icing on fancy sugar eggs!

  9. HI Greta - How wonderful to "hear" your friendly "voice" this morning, especially since we're far, far from home! Your card here is STUNNING; you certainly seem to have a great handle on how to use your patterned papers! Last week, I signed up for an online card-making class (first time, and of course, I was 'late') on how to use patterned papers. Because the videos and all other course ideas/materials are archived, you can access them anytime. Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner are the lead teachers; in a word, they're awesome! Here's the link, just in case: http://www.onlinecardclasses.com/
    Happy Easter to you!!
