Here's a card I posted awhile back on IG for TTTC102. I made a cardstock stencil from Stamplorations Bloomtangled 1 die, placed it over a wc panel & spritzed with Tattered Angels Turquoise Blue & Meadow Greens Glimmer Mists.
One more Easter card & this time I used a blossom from SSS Spring Flowers, a Stampendous sentiment & Cuttlebug Modern Wallpaper embossing folder.
Thanks so much for taking time to stop by. If your blog address is in your profile or comment, I will visit you.
The mat is Gina Marie Loopy Rectangle & the word is SSS Painted Thanks stacked 3 high & covered in Nuvo Glaze.
Next is my card for Gina K Monthly Mix Challenge & ModSquad Challenge. I masked an area & blended Distress Oxides fossilized amber, spiced marmalade, broken china & faded jeans to give the impression of a sunrise. This is my first card using the sentiment & butterfly from Gina K A Big Hello. The brown ink is Versafine Clair Acorn & I embossed the butterfly with Hero Arts Sparkle ep.
I'm also entering Day of the Month Card Club where they're celebrating their 2nd Blog Birthday. Thanks for the info, Gundi.
I also made a couple more Easter cards. First is my entry for ITP/PTI The Great Cover-Up Challenge to make a watercolor card.
Last time I got out the Garden Gild dies, I cut a bunch, not knowing how many I'd need. Since they were die cut from Bristol, I colored a few of the leftovers with my Zigs. For the background I did a watercolor wash of Blueberry Sky & added the Shape Shifters Oval 3 die cut.
I die cut several of the Impression Obsession sentiment die cuts coloring the shadow with a green Zig & white embossing the top layer.
One more Easter card & this time I used a blossom from SSS Spring Flowers, a Stampendous sentiment & Cuttlebug Modern Wallpaper embossing folder.
I added some color to the pink, textured cardstock with markers & brushed the petals with a glimmer pen.
Finished off with charcoal gems & black enamel dots. I'm entering Just Us Girls, TTTC104 (Die Cut, Flower, Coloring) & SSS Flickr #171.
What wonderful cards Greta. Love the colours on your first card. I can see the beautiful shimmer. Your Easter cards are just beautiful as is the butterfly card.
ReplyDeleteA real bumper post Greta, all are so pretty but this time maybe the Easter card with the lilacs and yellow just pips it for me.

A lovely collection of cards Greta. Congrats on getting your licence renewed. It will be nice for you to get out and about in the car.
ReplyDeleteThree exceptionally beautiful cards and I really like your butterfly card. I really like that you only designed part of the background. Glad you joined us at DotMCC. Gundi
ReplyDeleteA beautiful collection of cards, Greta!! I can’t say that I have a favorite for they are all unique and lovely!! Congrats on getting your license renewed!! Now that my husband is retired I rarely drive myself. But, knowing that I can when I need to is a good thing. Take care, hugs!!

lovely array of cards, Greta - thanks for entering the TTT challenge with such a great design with the soft pinks -love your watercolored posies on the 3rd card!
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely cards you have on display, Greta. I remember seeing your last card on IG and thought it was beautiful. I'm so glad you shared it with us at Just Us Girls.
ReplyDeleteGreata, You have quite a lot of beautiful cards in this post. The easter card is stunning and the last one for JUGS is lovely too. Love the texture and the perfectly placed flowers. Thanks for playing along with us!
ReplyDeleteWell, you had me at the first one, Greta, and each card design is going in my folder! I truly love each and every one. I'm really amazed by the first one and the way you made your own stencil and just sprayed it. I've been holding off getting yet more product when it comes to the sprays, but you've hooked me with this! Plus, those large dies seemed to be pretty limited, so I appreciate knowing I can cut a stencil and play with it! Great blending on the butterfly design (which you can share at NBUS), and amazing texture and dimension on the last two! Good job getting your real ID! Getting fully vaccinated makes a world of difference! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteI don't get on IG so much to browse so I am VERY GLAD you are posting here on your blog too. Would have been a shame to miss these beauties.
ReplyDeleteWhat beauties! That butterfly card is stunning! I renewed my license too but hardly ever drive now as Ian drives us everywhere. It would be nice to get a holiday but I can't see it happening this year... You need to get a passport so you can come visit me one day... Sending hugs
ReplyDeleteWhat an absolute feast for the eyes Greta! Each card offers something different and special. As someone else said, I'm going to save all of these to my "special" folder. Very clever to create a stencil for your first card and I love the delicate border. I'm definitely going to try your technique with the butterfly card. Stunning. Easter Joy is truly a joy to behold and finally the soft pinks on the last card really highlight the beautifully embossed background. Superb creating. TFS
