I've had an idea in my head for the W&W March Color Challenge & finally sat down to give it a try last night. I stamped the little flower from Big, Bold, Seasons in a bunch of Memento inks as close as I could get to the colors in the photo inspiration.
Using a fine point white Sharpie, I added a dot to each center & then covered it with a drop of Nuvo Glaze. I die cut a circle from SSS Fog cardstock & mounted it over the floral panel. The simple sentiment is from the same stamp set. I'm also entering CASual Fridays, The Snippets Playground, SSS Wednesday & Die Cut Divas.
My next card uses one of my favorite techniques: ink blending a masked area & stamping with a solid image. I used DO inks picked raspberry & wilted violet with a floral image from SSS Warm Wishes & sentiment from SSS Thoughtful Messages.
The floral image is heat embossed & the panel is spritzed with Tsukineko shimmer mist--so beautiful in real life. I added a little strip of printed paper to the card front & popped up the panel with thin fun foam. Just discovered different companies make different thicknesses. I'm entering AAA Cards, SSS Wednesday & SSS Flickr Challenge # 94. I'm catching up on blog reading & thank you so much for coming by.
