A Different Transformation--Re-do of a Card I Love

I'm really enjoying the new PTI Transformation challenges.  My first 2 entries were re-dos of cards I didn't like.  This time I was inspired by Melissa's transformation of a gorgeous card resulting in another gorgeous card.  I went back to the watercolor card I made in August 2016.
Original Card 2016

It's a re-do of a not good card & is one of my favorites.  Not sure why I haven't tried another one before now.  Anyway, I kept a similar design with a very different color scheme--one I don't tend to use much.
New Card 2018

I also changed to a simple stamped sentiment from Friendly Flowers, images from Rosie Posie & RP Step 2.  The Distress Inks are scattered straw, wild honey, shabby shutters & peeled paint.  I added splatters & yellow Nuvo Drops.  This time I omitted the shimmer spray & used a stitched rectangle die.  Must say, as I was making this card I thought it might end up in the trash.  I'd forgotten that you truly have to just keep going & let it dry before deciding if you like it or not.  This one is going in the mail--it passed the test--haha!  I'm also entering CropStop, HLS Watercolor Challenge, Retro Rubber (roses I've had at least 5 years), SSS Monday & Die Cut Divas.  Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
