I started my on-line stamping life with the Hero Arts Flickr group. Today my good friend, Betty gave us the theme of Fall with a metallic for the HA 90 minute scramble. I was inspired by Iliana's card, so will also enter my card in the a2z Sept Challenge.
The black panel was dry embossed with a folder by The Paper Studio & then I embossed the 2 LifeStyle Crafts circle dies. The gorgeous HA leaf die is from the new Autumn Icons set which I absolutely love! I die cut it from copper cardstock given to me by my sweet friend, Rosemary. First card made with these dies, so I'm also entering Darnell's NBUS challenge. The sentiment from HA Find Joy was embossed with JudiKins Metallic Bronze powder on a vellum strip. Couldn't believe a sequin in a multi-colored pack matched perfectly! I'm also entering SSS Monday & SSS Wednesday.
Next is my entry for Heather's W&W Sept Color Challenge. I smooshed 3 DIs ( pumice stone, frayed burlap & ground espresso) on a watercolor panel, drying between each color.
My favorite W&W hello die was stacked 3 high & brushed with Wink of Stella. I stamped the bloom from In Bloom: Frenchy's Festive Florals with VersaMagic Red Magic. I decided against the white border, so trimmed the die cuts with scissors & added more ink with an applicator.
The white dots in the centers were covered with black Nuvo drops by using a pointed toothpick. The tricky part was figuring out exactly where to stamp the branches from the same set using pumice stone & ground espresso. Two blooms were glued flat & the third one was attached with foam tape. I'll use this for a winter note card. I'm also entering Inkspirational & SSS Wednesday. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

Christmas & Love
The CAS card I didn't enter in the MFT Superstar Challenge works for Rudolph Days.
I really like the softer look of clear embossing a sentiment for emboss resist instead of white embossing.
The snowflake is super sparkly--just kept adding glitter! I'm also entering Christmas Card Challenges & SSS Wednesday.
Next is an anniversary card for my sister & brother-in-law. She loves blue & he loves green, so I used both.
I'm always drawn to cards with a watercolor wash, so will have to keep practicing. Here I used DI cracked pistachio, but a reinker or darker color would have made it easier. The image from SSS Sketch Ranunculus was first silver embossed using a line defining embossing powder.
I heavily spritzed the card with Perfect Pearls--such a beautiful shimmer. The PTI love die was cut from a blue scrap 4 times, stacked & clear embossed. Simple 1 layer card that could be done with a lot of different images, colors & words. I'm entering CropStop, SSS Flickr & SSS Wednesday. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

Papertrey September Blog Hop Challenge
Hurrah--it's time for the monthly PTI Blog Hop! I love the inspiration piece with it's beautiful Fall colors. Decided to make a birthday card with Fall colored flowers on a dark background. The Sweet Life images are some of my favorites, although I still have a terrible time lining up the layers. Finally decided to go with what I had anyway. I stamped with a variety of inks on ivory cardstock & then sponged with one of the light colors to soften the look.
The sentiment from PTI Quilled Elegance is gold embossed on the dark chocolate panel. Instead of splattering with gold, I pulled out a very old Magenta stamp. I still love splatters, but this is fun for a different look. I'm also entering CAS on Friday & The Playground. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by--enjoy the hop!

Thank You Kindly
Most of you know I love the PTI MIM challenges. This week Dawn made a beautiful card for the theme of Mixing Florals--using more than one stamp set. I'm one of the few people who actually doesn't have a bunch of PTI floral sets, per se. Quite a few of my sets do include some flowers & I ended up deciding on a wreath card.
The card base is made with a die from Don't Forget to Write--so feminine & beautiful. The wreath, flowers & greenery stamps are from Twig Wreath & Garden Guild, with a sentiment from Quilled Elegance. I used a bunch of PTI inks with the largest flowers done in Autumn Rose. The little strip of matching cardstock was added to my hand cut sentiment banner & 3 matching pearls provided just the look I wanted. I love die cuts, but sometimes it's fun to just get back to stamping. I'm also entering Stamplorations Theme & Word Art Wednesday. Thanks so much for stopping by.

MFT Superstar Cards
Shakers are listed in the MFT Superstar Innovation Master challenge category. I really love the MFT shaker pouches that eliminate the need to use foam, so I made this card which also works for MFT Color Challenge 77.
The larger MFT Dizzy Doily die was dry embossed on gray cardstock & cut out by hand. I also used scissors to cut out the center for the pouch to fit through. The doily & the card front were sponged with DI pumice stone. An image from MFT Peaceful Wildflowers was white embossed for the shaker background. The shaker mix is made of dark blue, light blue & pink glitter with some clear seed beads thrown in.
I stamped the image from the same set in pumice stone, using my mini MISTI so I could stamp multiple times. White waxed twine was tied in a bow & embellished with a pearl before adding the panel to a white card. I'm also entering SSS Monday.
My first attempt at an entry for the MFT Superstar Coloring Virtuoso was a complete failure. Last night I decided to try something completely different & I'm happy to have an entry for the random drawing.
First time to open the Flashy Florals dies--so pretty. I actually colored with 2 purple & 2 green Copic markers--going for darker in the center. I used my white Sharpie for the dots & added Wink of Stella to the bloom, along with a glittered white dot.
The sentiment from MFT Tag You're It was stamped on a white panel die cut with MFT In & Out Stitched Rounded Square. The same die was embossed into the black panel & I added the white one with fun foam. Hubby mailed this one to surprise his daughter as he just found out that Sunday is Daughter Day. I'm also entering ATC, SSS Monday, The Coloring Challenge & Word Art Wednesday. Thanks so much for stopping by.
Edited to add: Also entering SSS Wednesday since the white panel is mounted with fun foam.

Thanks so Much
If I didn't know better, I'd say it must be Fall! So nice to have cooler temps & some rain. You may remember hubby found a man who served for a few months in WWII on the same ship as his dad. The men didn't know each other (800 men), but it was still very special to talk with someone who was in the same place at the same time. Here's the card hubby is sending him & his daughter.
The IO Collage Leaf 5 was inked with Distress Markers festive berries, peeled paint & wild honey. I used my Mini MISTI so I could ink, mist & stamp until I got the look I wanted. When it was dry, I over-stamped in Delicata Golden Glitz. I added some brown splatters before attaching the IO die cut sentiment (DIE234-M) which I cut from kraft & inked with VersaMagic Jumbo Java. I'm entering IO Harvest Hellos, AAA Cards, SSS Monday, SSS Wednesday & Die Cut Divas. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

Warm Cards
I missed the last Coffee Lover's Blog Hop, but had to make something for the current Fall challenge as I just got Stamplorations Coffee for all Seasons.
Very simple card & a smaller size--perfect for a coffee gift card. I tied on some twine & added a brown pearl over the knot. Fun to find a matching sequin from a mixed pack I got last year. Hard to tell, but there is a gorgeous shimmer from spritzing heavily with gold perfect pearls.
I'm also entering Stamplorations Theme, Stamplorations Never-Ending Anything Goes, Allsorts & SSS Wednesday.
Next is my entry for ABNH. The collaboration company for the month is CAS-ual Fridays & I immediately knew I wanted to use the wheat image from CFS Amber Waves. I won the set years ago, but had only used one of the sentiments.
Hero Arts Envelope Pattern was lightly stamped on the front of the kraft card--needed to be darker. The wheat was gold embossed & then I used my Mini MISTI to stamp the Hero Arts sentiment multiple times. This is the first time I've done double embossing--a bit tricky with a sentiment, but the MISTI made it possible. I finished off with splatters of Distress Stain tarnished brass. I'm also entering SSS Wednesday & Word Art Wednesday. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
