To make the ombre panel I brushed on Blueberry Sky using a Nuvo stencil brush. Have to say, think my 15+ yr old brushes work about the same, but the new ones are prettier--haha! The flowers from Friendly Flowers were stamped in Sweet Blush, Pale Peony & Green Parakeet. I used a green marker to smooth out the stems, so it's a bit darker. The sentiment is from the same set & is stamped in Blueberry Sky. I wrapped the die cut panel with silver thread, just for something different. I love the simplicity of the inspiration photo, so in keeping with that I inlaid the panel into the die cut card front. Finished off with Rosewater Nuvo Jewel drops. Love being able to get tiny drops like I used in the flower centers. Always tons of inspiration, so enjoy the hop & thanks so much for stopping by. I'm also entering Allsorts & Word Art Wednesday.

Pantone Chip Inspired Card
Have to admit, I'd never heard of Pantone Chip photography, but what a fun card challenge for PTI MIM! I knew right away I wanted to make a Christmas card using Spruce & Sprigs.
I smooshed a couple scraps with DI pine needles & festive berries to use for die cutting. I stamped the holly & branch in Pinefeather & the berries in festive berries. The chip was made by blending a 2x3 inch scrap with DI pine needles. The sentiment from Wreath for All Seasons was stamped in Brilliance Starlite Black. I love using the mini MISTI to stamp multiple times when needed, like I did here for the berries & the word Holidays. I tried several backgrounds, but didn't like them. Finally decided just to use dry embossed dots & I mounted the chip with foam tape. Really love how this turned out--hope you do, too! I'm also entering CAS(E) this Sketch, Christmas Card Challenges, HLS Christmas Challenge, Time Out & Word Art Wednesday. Thanks so much for stopping by.

I Did It--Yah!
My MFT Camp Create roomie, Brenda, finished & headed home a couple days ago. Due to getting distracted (other challenges!) & procrastinating (where IS that Blog Writing Genie?!) I'm just now packing up. The good thing is I finished all the challenges & have cards I like enough to send to people! That's certainly a win, but I AM keeping my fingers crossed for the drawings--haha!
Here's my card for Day 3, Spectacular Shakers. I was determined to use one of the MFT shaker pouches & found the pumpkin from MFT Primitive Pumpkins was just the right size. The little stars & sentiment are from the same set.
My stamping was done with PTI Summer Sunrise & Plum Pudding plus Distress markers peeled paint & crushed olive. So fun to use a bit of this wonderful printed paper I've slowly been cutting into for years, along with almost the end of the black, sparkly ribbon. My shaker mix consists of seed beads, PPP confetti stars & Stampendous Shaved Ice. The pumpkin is also covered in Wink of Stella, so lots of shine & sparkle. I'm also entering ATSM (stem & swirl inked with markers), CropStop, The Playground & SSS Wednesday.
I had to get creative for Day 4, Sensational Sliders. Hopefully my sliding camouflaged tag will qualify. You may remember this idea from a 2015 PTI MIM.
I started by trying out the toner sheets with my new Heidi Swapp Summer Rainbow foil using the MFT Layered Rose dies. I was a little disappointed I didn't get perfect coverage, but can't justify the price of a Minc & who knows if it would have been better. Anyway, I decided not to be so fussy. The 2 with the solid color (same foil) are done with self-adhesive fun foam & did cover perfectly.
I white embossed MFT Geometric Grid Background & splattered with PTI Hibiscus Burst before attaching the panel to the card front, taping it to leave space for the tag to slide in & out.
The tag & sentiment on the front are from MFT Tag You're It, while the sentiment on the tag is from MFT Peaceful Wildflowers. I'm also entering HLS Anything Goes with Dies & Word Art Wednesday.

Edited to add: Also entering Virginia's Summer Blog Party.
I combined the bonus Divine Dry Embossing & Day 5 Glitzy Glitter. Love the look of MFT Dizzy Doily dry embossed--gotta do that more often. It makes a beautiful subtle background--just what I wanted for my glittery MFT Poinsettia.
I've glittered the poinsettia dies before using the self-adhesive fun foam. This time, though, I used 2 colors of the Elizabeth Craft glitter on the blooms: Pink & Champagne. The leaves are done in Sweet Basil & the sentiment is from an old MFT Christmas set without a label.
The sparkle from that brand of glitter is stunning--wish you could see it in person. I'm also entering Christmas Card Challenges, CropStop & Word Art Wednesday. Thanks for making it to the end of this long post! Hope you've found some time to craft--I'll be by soon!

Father's Day and more Winnie & Walter
Hubby really liked the card Fritz had me make for Father's Day--haha! I used a very old unmounted stamp I got years ago at a stamp convention & a sentiment from an Oregon company no longer in business.
Decided to go simple with just black & white plus a bit of red. The eyes & nose are covered in Crystal Lacquer. I'm entering CAS on Friday & Penny Black & More. Speaking of Fritz, had to snap a picture before he got his haircut. I do love his furry face, but with this heat wave he'll feel better smooth & silky!
We spent Father's Day at hubby's daughter's & had a nice day. She made dinner & I brought brownies--all yummy! I made a card to take to the granddaughter who is about to move out on her own.
I cut the Winnie & Walter word die for the first time & sponged with the June W&W Color Challenge colors using Distress Inks squeezed lemonade, salty ocean, picked raspberry & peeled paint. I used alpha stickers & some black splatters to finish off the card made from textured white cardstock. I'm also entering CropStop. I've gotten behind on blog reading, but I'll be visiting you as soon as I can. I really do appreciate all the encouraging comments.

Winnie & Walter and Simon Says Stamp
Keren's colorful plaid background for Winnie & Walter Rerun No. 20 inspired me. I don't have Scenery Stripes, but I do have Scenery Stripes 2.
I tried over & over to make my idea work using 3 of the images. Finally I gave up & went with just the little triangles to make my version using 5 pretty Brilliance ink pads. The sentiment is from Big, Bold, Seasons & the stacked die cut word is covered in Wink of Stella. I finished off with clear Nuvo drops. I'm also entering Penny Black & More.
Next is my entry for SSS Flickr Challenge #73. I really love the little leaves in SSS Sketch Ranunculus.
After white embossing on Bristol paper I colored with 2 green & 1 blue Zig. Then I brushed heavily with Wink of Stella & mounted the panel with foam tape. The sentiment from the same set is stamped several times in Brilliance Starlite Black. The Nuvo jewel drops are actually green--don't know why they look yellow in the photo. I'm also entering SSS Wednesday. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

Camp Create
This week is MFT Camp Create--5 days, 5 crafts. I don't know if I'll complete them all, but the $150 gift certificate drawing is pretty motivating--haha! Here is my card for Day 1--Wonderful Watercolor. The good thing is, I finally used my Prima Confections watercolors! They're very small which intimidated me, for some reason.
I began by white embossing MFT Geometric Grid Background on watercolor paper. My stamping wasn't that good, but decided a distressed kind of look might work & I really like it. The panel was mounted to navy, textured cardstock & a white textured card. The sentiment from MFT Tag You're It is white embossed on a vellum strip. I arranged MFT Layered Leaves die cut from vellum, gluing only near the stems, & added some white sparkly dots. I'm also entering CropStop, June HLS Watercolor Challenge & SSS Wednesday.
Next is my card for Day 2--Remarkable Resist. I love emboss resist & MFT Peaceful Wildflowers are delicate & yet bold enough to make a statement.
MFT Color Challenge #71 is beautiful & luckily there are very similar Distress Inks: ripe persimmon, squeezed lemonade, seedless preserves & peacock feathers. I added water drops, splattered with picket fence Distress Paint & die cut the panel with Lil' Inker Stitched Rectangle. The white embossed sentiment is from the same set & Hero Arts ombre sequins (thank you, Betty!) happened to be a great match. I'm also entering ATSM, Penny Black & More & SSS Wednesday. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
