Anyway, I did take a break to craft as I didn't want to totally miss Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist. The inspiration is incredible so far, but the glitter stripes on Melania's Day 7 tags just spoke to me. I used her design, but changed to silver glitter paper & hopefully it's OK to have one extra stripe. My tag base is MFT Fishtail Flags, the sentiment is Hero Arts, the blossoms & leaves are EH Bold Blossoms which are colored with Zigs. Finished off with PPP Sparkling Clear sequins & did you notice the black eyelet?! I'm also entering HLS Anything Goes with Dies.
Think the tag looks better than the card, but hopefully my friend will enjoy it anyway. I'm entering SSS National Christmas Card Day. I'm slowly catching up on leaving blog comments. Thank you all for visiting!
It is cold over here too! I don't remember we have that many cold days here in Vegas.

Molly loves the snow and I have to drag her in. She rolls in it but won't go outside if it's raining! Go figure. I love those stripes on the tag and the flowers. I like the card embossed and I'm sure your friend will too.
ReplyDeleteFabulous card and tag Greta. Are ya going to let us in on your trick to avoid the craziness next year? I am going to try to make 5 cards a month for the major fall holidays starting in January. We'll see if I can hold on to that plan.
ReplyDeleteWe have some pretty sunshine, but it's a bit chilly today. Love the way you've used this nifty die rose set all colorful and bright over the silver wide stripes on your tag. And it looks just great over the white embossing swirls added to your card too! TFS & hugs
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tag and so clever to use it on a card! Lovely design!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah ...mailing the cards out. ...I make Christmas cards throughout the year but not one has made it into a post box yet! I love this tag- the way the flowers leap off it looks so lively.
ReplyDeleteHow could your friend not like this fabulous card? So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI am curious about your new system for next year because I am very stressed myself and need to change something. Will you share it, please?
That tag is perfect on that card. It's like you planned it that way all along. I like what you do with those swirly flowers.
