Even 1 inch of snow makes for a beautiful landscape. Fritz enjoys his walks, but I have to be really careful as there's a lot of ice under the snow.
Just had to make one more tag for Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist. The challenge for Day 4 is Felt & I have tons of felt that needs to be used! Jennifer's first tag inspired me with the layout & dry embossing. I love the color combo of pink & navy, so used a scrap of pink textured cardstock dry embossed with Taylored Expressions Snowfall folder & die cut with AJVD Polka Dot Backdrop Rectangle. Before die cutting the MFT snowflake, I attached a piece of navy felt to cardstock--really helps with delicate dies. The sentiment from PTI Botanical Blocks IV is silver embossed on a double strip of vellum cut with the smallest AJVD die. One more eyelet & a favorite pink pearl along with a scrap of sheer pink ribbon finish it off.
I'm also entering ScrapRDV Bingo ( vellum, dry embossing, ribbon), Dies R Us, SSS Monday, & Die Cut Divas.
As always, lots of inspiration available to use for PTI CAWU, but I ended up using Lizzie's card to make a Christmas thank you with PTI Wreath for all Seasons & Friendship Jar Flowers. The inks are PTI Classic Kraft & Memento Love Letter. I'm also entering CAS-ual Fridays, CropStop & Word Art Wednesday. Thanks so much for stopping by. I'll be catching up with my blog reading as soon as I can.
beautiful tag, greta!! the pink, black and silver combo is so elegant! beautiful take on lizzie's card, too!!
ReplyDeletegorgeous tag Greta - lovely card too. ice, blowing snow and 5 above zero here - yuck!
ReplyDeleteGreta, I love that navy pink combo. The felt flake is fabulous! (How's that for alliteration?). Your wreath thank you card is so delicate and lovely. It's going on my favorite list.
ReplyDeleteAs always a superb creation, but as you might guess it's Fritz in his coat who steals the show today. Our terrier has one for cooler days but not the labs, odd really as our pet stores seem to do a massive leap from coats for small dogs then a huge leap to ones for horses and of course both of ours have one.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of the weekend.

Fabulous tag and what a great card. Love Fritz in the snow. A very merry Christmas Greta to you and your family
ReplyDeleteYour street looks exactly like mine! Snow covered over the ice. Poor Fritz, he looks shell shocked. Molly could hardly walk over the backyard this morning. She was sliding and was only out barely 3 minutes. Your tag is so pretty. The navy felt snowflake looks great against the pink and the wreath card is so soft and lovely. I love that stripe border in the pink to match the berries.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, I love your elegant style. The pink and black colour combo is fabulous. Fritz looks cute in his coat and walking in the snow. It's icy here this morning as well, not fun for walking. Take good care and have a wonderful Christmas and Happy, Healthy and Creative 2017! Shirleyxx
