Has panic set in--haha! I'm not even working until next year & I still feel behind with the holidays upon us. Most of my Christmas cards are made & what I have left need to be quick to do. That led me back to a technique I learned in one of my first stamping classes nearly 20 years ago.
This is my DT card for PBSC where you can make any Christmas or Winter card using Penny Black stamps/dies/Stickeroos. I had never opened this set of 2 stamps called winter village. Turns out they fit like this in the Mini MISTI, so very easy to stamp a set of cards in multiple colors. I have lots of old Brilliance ink pads that still work great & have never been re-inked. This card is done in Gamma Green which I also sponged on the edges of the card front. One name for the technique is Crystallina.
All you do is cover your stamped panel with glitter & see the magic! My favorite way to do this is to spray with silver Glitter Dust, but you can also use spray adhesive & dry glitter. Hope I've given you some ideas & that you'll play along in our challenge. Wishing everyone a blessed, peaceful holiday season. Thank you so much for stopping by. I'm entering Merry Monday (think this would work for a guy), SSS Wednesday, Time Out & Word Art Wednesday.
