First up is my Color Isolation card for PTI MIM. One of my first PTI sets was Year of Flowers Collection which I bought mostly to use for backgrounds. The rose is stamped in Soft Stone on white cardstock. For the focal point & sentiment I used The Sweet Life stamps & dies. It's fun to see what colors you get when the layers include a solid image. I used Sweet Blush, Lemon Tart & Autumn Rose with Limeade Ice & Simply Chartreuse for the leaves. Finished off with PPP Sparkling Clear sequins. I'm also entering Stamping Sensations.
Next is another card for the Winnie & Walter Share the Love Week with Pinkfresh Studio. This time I was inspired by Gayatri's card on Day 4. The Pinkfresh collection is very fresh & modern & a challenging style for me! I saw the SSS Hello, Beautiful stamp set in my newly acquired box & decided to try using some of the fun images to CASE the paper.
I used VersaMagic Pixie Dust, Sea Breeze & Mango Madness along with PTI Soft Stone. Gotta admit--it was a fun way to stamp & I want to try it again. The bottom strip is Hero Arts Large Plaid Background & the word die cut is from W&W The Big, The Bold & The Happy sent by my friend, Cat. I inked it with the pink & brushed on WOS. I've had the stickers forever & finally used some. My punches are mostly ignored, but luckily I had the perfect little heart to make my own embellishment. It's 3 layers, inked with the Mango & covered with Diamond Glaze. Finished off with lots of little PPP Marshmallow sequins. So happy I went outside my comfort zone & found I could do this style of card--once anyway! I'm also entering at SSS Flickr (Springy colors), SSS Wednesday, SSS Work It Wednesday & Die Cut Divas. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
