A Splash of Red Foil

Hard to believe it's already the 25th SSS Flickr challenge & what a great theme--white on white with a splash of color.  I bought adhesive backed fun foam to use with foil, but decided to give it a try with my prisma glitter.  It worked great & the effect in person is absolutely stunning!  I used SSS Holiday Frames die with a metal shim just in case it needed it--cut great!  Getting the foil on that tiny star was a bit of a challenge & not sure if you can tell it's foiled. The card front is stenciled with SSS Falling Snow using gel medium--love the subtle, glossy texture it gives.  
So fun when a card turns out even better than you hoped & I think it can be mailed with 1 stamp! I'm also entering the favorite holiday challenge at Die Cut Divas.

    Beautiful! I love all the sparkle and the pop of red just draws your eye right to the snowflake. The background snow is so subtle, I had to click to see it.

    Oh my goodness, Greta! I have this frame/snowflake set and used it maybe twice! Your rendition of it here (foiling...so cool) has taken my breath away! Shimmer, sparkle, the pop of red...swooning! Ideas sparked!
