I love angels & have several stamps, but they seldom make it onto my cards for some reason.
The current Merry Monday challenge helped me change that for one card. I've been wanting to use one of my oldest stamps, a DeNami angel, & decided to try it with ultra thick embossing powder. I began by inking white cardstock with Brilliance Pearlescent Crimson. After heating the UTEE in my electric skillet & adding some tiny beads & gold shreds, I pressed the stamp inked with Delicata Golden Glitz into the warm UTEE.
I traced over the lines with my black Glaze pen to give a bit more definition before mounting it to gold paper die cut with a Spellbinder & attached to a dark blue panel. I'm also entering SSS Monday, A is for ... Angel.
Hope you get to enjoy the weekend. We're off to visit hubby's daughter who's making lasagna & I'm taking brownies--yum!

ReplyDeleteI like the shreds in the UTEE; it's a neat look. I love DeNami's angels. They have two like this one and I never remember which one I have so I can buy the other. They are so old now they probably don't even make them anymore.
