Chocolate Brown for a Birthday

The first Saturday of the month means time for a new challenge at Penny Black Saturday Challenge. Our theme is Easter or Chocolate Brown & I decided to make an elegant birthday card with the lovely Penny Black stamp set, silhouettes.  This is the first card I've made with it, but won't be the last.
I gold embossed the frame & brown embossed the silhouette & then die cut them with an oval Spellbinder. The edge was also gold embossed & then the oval was mounted to a brown scalloped die cut.  I partially embossed the gold shimmery panel & brown embossed the sentiment from Penny Black's set, salutations.  The card front needed a little something, so I stamped the end of an old PB stamp, simple scroll, on all sides using the brown ink. Finished off with little gold sticker dots. Hope you'll check out the wonderful inspiration from my teammates, grab your Penny Black products & play in the challenge this month.
