Ink Blended Hearts

I saved the stencil I made from SSS Heart of Flowers die to make THIS CARD, so pulled it out to do some ink blending for SSS Flickr Challenge 142.

Pixie Spray really works great.  The stencil stayed perfectly in place while I used blending sponges with DI mermaid lagoon & wilted violet.  I left the stencil in place & added Versamark ink with a sponge dauber.  I wiped off the ink & left the stencil in place while I added HA Sparkle embossing powder.  Then I removed the stencil & heated the powder--so beautiful in person.
I knew the powder would stick to residue from the adhesive & didn't mind loosing a little bit on the stencil.  The sentiment from SSS Thoughtful Messages was stamped in Versafine Clair Morning Mist & I added AJVD black sequins.  I'm also entering challenges at SSS Monday, The Cat's Pajamas & Die Cut Divas.
Edited to add: Also entering CAS Mix Up with stamping & heat embossing & sponging ink in addition to my stencil made from a die.

I also made a heart stencil using Memory Box Grand Heart die & a stencil sheet from TCP.  The floral image from HA/GK Friendship Blooms was stamped & gold embossed.
Fun to use part of a large image for a different look.  I put the stencil back in place & used blending sponges to add DI lucky clover & blueprint sketch.
The sentiment from the same set was also gold embossed & I added gold, green & blue splatters.  I'm entering Gina K Monthly Mix challenge, DRU, SSS Monday & ModSquad.

Valentines

I love foil, but seems like a long time since I've used mine.  Teal seems to be my go-to color right now & that's the foil I used on the Memory Box Grand Heart die cut from self adhesive fun foam.
It's neat how the foil looks different depending on the light.  It is gorgeous in person!  MB Bingham Heart was die cut from white cardstock & brushed with a shimmer pen.
Didn't want to cover up the beautiful focal point, so just added the little sentiment from Poppystamps Grateful Heart stamp set.  I'm entering DRU, Memory Box, SSS Wednesday, DCD & Time Out.

At the same time I made this card based on my skirt, I stamped & embossed a second panel with Penny Black blissful.  I used white pigment ink & a satin embossing powder for this one.
The edge was die cut with a PPP die & I also used it on a red cardstock scrap.  I attached the red piece behind the panel & covered it with Christmas Red Stickles--beautifully sparkly in person.
The sentiment is MFT & I also added dots of the Stickles to the centers of the blooms.  I'm entering Inkspirational, SSS Monday & SSS Wednesday.

My 3rd card is another non-traditional Valentine going to a blogging friend.  Back to teal & gray--haha!  The inks are PTI Hawaiian Shores, Tropical Teal & Weathervane which I used to stamp the images from Gina K Mini Wreath Builder.
The sentiment from the Gina K/Hero Arts collaboration set was stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne.  I added some tiny black & white dots before matting the square with black cardstock.  The dry embossed dots panel was still on my table after it didn't work for a previous card.  Seemed to be just the right thing for this one, so I cut it down, added a strip of the striped paper & covered the seam with white crochet thread.  The wreath panel was mounted with foam tape.  Fun to make a smaller card for a change.  Plus--I think the 3 little dots stamp will work as a replacement for the Uniko Wreath dots I lost!  I'm entering Gina K February Monthly Mix challenge, SSS Monday & SSS Wednesday.

Hello & Valentine's Day

Very last minute entry for the Altenew January Inspiration challenge.  I smooshed 3 scraps of white cardstock with DI seedless preserves, carved pumpkin & mowed lawn.

Then I die cut my new Altenew Wild Rose 3D dies & added splatters of white gauche.  The background is Altenew Watercolor Stripes die cut from vellum & added to a white card with black splatters.
The sentiment from Altenew Painted Greetings was white embossed on a black scrap & I added some black sequins.  I'm also entering WAW.

Next is my entry for MFT Color Challenge 134.  Teal & gray aren't usual colors for a Valentine, but that's what I made.
I couldn't resist the MFT Mistletoe coverplate when it was 1/2 half off.  I inked the mistletoe with teal ink, covered it with watermark ink & embossed with Hero Arts Sparkle powder--really pretty in person.
The light teal cardstock was dry embossed with a swirly hearts folder for added interest.  I stamped the MFT sentiment on a light gray scrap in Versafine Clair Morning Mist.  The mat was made from another scrap of the light gray cardstock which I inked with Morning Mist so it would match.  I'm also entering SSS Monday & SSS Wednesday.

Christmas, Valentine's Day & Friendship

Love my new Uniko Rustic Wreath stamp set & at least I made one card before loosing the tiny dots stamp!  Anyway, the wreath was silver embossed & the dots were stamped in Ultimate Metallic Blue & clear embossed.
I added some silver splatters & attached it to a silver embossed circle.  The sentiment from the same set was stamped in Versafine Clair Morning Mist, die cut with a circle & mounted with foam tape.
Love the pine needles embossing folder which made the perfect background, I think.  I'm entering Uniko Challenge 57 & Rudolph Days.

Time Out Challenges has a fun theme--be inspired by something in your wardrobe.  I always got compliments when I wore this skirt with my red heels.
The Penny Black stamp called blissful is an old favorite which I white embossed on black cardstock.  I trimmed it down & mounted it to a black A2 panel.
The MFT sentiment was white embossed on a black scrap & layered with a bit of red.  I'm also entering SSS Wednesday & The Snippets Playground

Last is another entry for the Pinkfresh January Challenge.  This time I used the April theme of frames & shakers using my new PFS Circle Frame with Botanicals that was part of the wonderful giveaway I won from Ivana.
I used 2 more of the PFS Delicate Blooms die cuts still on my table.  These were colored with DI tattered rose, tumbled glass & cracked pistachio.  I attached the blooms between 2 layers of the frame die cuts & stamped the sentiment from PFS Delicate Wreath in Versafine Clair Morning Mist.  I used a sparkle pen on the blooms & the circle frame.
The beautiful printed papers are from the PFS Felicity pad & I finished it off with gray splatters & clear sequins.  Looks kind of springy, but I'll probably send it as a Valentine.
