Last Minute Entry

Just realized one of the challenges I made this card for is about to end, so here's a quick post.  I loved the current FMS challenge as soon as I saw it & there are lots of wonderful entries.  Mine is pretty simple using Distress Ink cubes candied apple, carved pumpkin & fossilized amber.
I chose the colors from the JUGs challenge & used direct to paper with the ink cubes for the September GK Monthly Mix challenge.  I stamped the leafy branch from GK A Happy Hello in opposite directions, lining it up to appear as a single image.
The embossing powder is SSS Antique Gold.  I stamped the sentiment from the same set in Versafine Clair pinecone & added HA ombre sequins my friend, Betty, gave me years ago.
Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.  If your blog address is in your profile or comment, I will visit you.

  6. Oh, I love how you have stamped the squares and overlaid it with the leaf. I thought you had done some masking until I scrolled and saw the gold embossing. What a great look this is. And I love the little sequins too! A fantastic card! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.

  9. Fabulous CAS creation Greta, I really should take the step to be brave enough to go down that route, unfortunately I start with all good intentions and then the inks come out.

  22. I loved Cecile's sketch but didn't get the time to use it sadly :( You've done a great job though Greta! I love the colours and the embossed leaf - clever the way you extended that - and I really like the way your sequins reflect the colours of the squares they're next to! Vicky x
