Hello, Hello

Glad the winter storms have ended the drought, but it's really nice to sunshine for a few days.  Fritz thinks the best thing in the world is laying on the deck in the sun & I love being able to walk him without wearing a raincoat!  There are crocus in bloom & daffodil shoots in lots of flower beds we pass, so Spring is on the way.
I send lots of cards for no special reason, so love my hello stamps & dies. My first card is for W&W 3rd BD Bash--Pattern-Making with Mayuri.
I used pink & green Altenew inks with W&W In Bloom: Addie's Garden. This is my first time to use this set & my first time to finally stamp using the back's of the stamps.
I added some black splatters & used my beloved W&W hello die which I heat embossed with JudiKins Iridescent Sparkle powder.  The panels are die cut with AJVD Polka Dot Backdrop Rectangles.  I'm also entering Die Cut Divas, SSS Work it WednesdayWord Art Wednesday.

Next is my card for PTI MIM--Stamped Dangles.  I had never used the hello stamp from Wonderful Words: Hello--just the die.
I liked Amy's sample with it, so that's what I used along with the coordinating sentiment & little stamps from Autumn Adornments, Harvest Berries & Heart 2 Heart #2.  Gotta admit, I thought this one was going to end up in the trash, but just kept going using Amethyst Allure, Spring Rain, Lovely Lady, Sweet Blush & Vintage Jadeite.  Really should have done a practice run, but I like the idea & it'll go in the mail.  I did add a bit of Stickles--always good to have sparkle!  I'm also entering SSS Monday.  I'm catching up on blog reading--don't think I've forgotten you!

  16. Two sweet cards Greta, I love that you persisted with the second one and came up with something so pretty. Often, I push things too far and they end up in the bin! My stamping skills are quite limited and I'm always amazed when crafters come up with a whole background of random stamping which looks amazing, like your Hello card. How thoughtful to send a card "just because".
