First is a card I made yesterday for the Hero Arts Flickr Scramble.
I brayered a piece of glossy photo paper with HA red to pink ombre ink pad & then stamped the 2009 Large Dot Flourish in Brilliance Graphite Black. The HA sentiment from 1996 is stamped in Delicata Silvery Shimmer. I'm entering a2z, Retro Rubber & Word Art Wednesday.
The next 3 cards are for the PTI challenges which have given me so much inspiration to use the sets I currently own! The first one is for Celebrating 2008 & Nichole's Out on a Limb card inspired me to use one of my earliest purchases--Lovely Leaves.
The berries are so tiny I decided to add shimmer to the leaves instead & it's really pretty in real life.
My card for Celebrating 2009 uses Guide Lines--a stamp set I bought from a blogger doing a purge several years ago & I'd never used it. As soon as I saw Nichole's card using Giga Guidelines I thought maybe I could use a small image stamped multiple times for the same idea--& it worked!
I used Lavender Moon for the image & mat & Brilliance Starlite Black for the sentiment from Splits: Just a Note. Clearly my taste runs to simple, as this is one of my favorite cards. I want to try the other images & various color combos--could make a nice gift set. I'm also entering ATSM & The Playground.
Last is my card for Celebrating 2014 inspired by Dawn's card. I usually stamp black, brown or white on kraft, but really love the look of these colors that Dawn used: New Leaf, Hawaiian Shores, Simply Chartreuse & Pinefeather.
The stamp sets are Meadow Greens & Twig Wreath. I used AJVD Polka Dot Rectangle Backdrop Dies. I'm also entering Dies R Us. Thanks so much for making it through this long post--I appreciate every one of you!

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of past, present, future. A great way to go back and rethink some of your stamps and techniques. You did a great job of using your stamps and adding the leaves looks fine to me. I do love that red HA card. Perfect for any time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a delight seeing all your hard work. Must get my brayer out again...Thank you for the inspiration x

ReplyDeleteAll of your cards are wonderful, Greta! You've been very creative!
ReplyDeleteAll of these cards are just gorgeous. Love the shimmer of #1's bright reds (love that ink pad too!) And I think you did great with your leaf placement on the branch cards. Looks perfect to me, and love the colors. Especially liking the leaf arrangement & colors over the kraft on the last card, and the way you've added in the sentiment. That is quite striking! TFS
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work on all these cards Greta. I'd have no idea how to go about stamping as you have done on the "Kindness" stamp and it looks stunning. The crisp look on the pink card speaks to my C&S heart and the vibrancy of the Happy Birthday card is full of Joy. My absolute fave is the Friendship card, with it's tender green leaves and beautiful sentiment. Sooo much inspiration here. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSO much prettiness all in one post Greta!! I have always loved the leaves in the Meadow Greens set and what you've done with them here is very inspiring! Marvelous work...as always!!

ReplyDeleteAlas, I’ve again fallen soooo behind in commenting (work, travel, 'stuff', repeat, sighhhh), and as much as I’d love to dive into each missed post and leave love, I’d wind up even further behind (not to mention cluttering up your mailbox *grin*). As it is, you know that *gorgeous, fabulous, amazing, stellar* are my responses to your exponential creativity (need to figure out a new vocabulary…) so please consider those added to your gallery, as of this minute! Right now, focusing on the cards in front of me that are…well, see the previous list! Love the vibrant reds/pink of the first; the delicate leafy airiness of the second; the lavender elegance of the third (that image..oh my! So pretty!); and the fantastic florals stamped onto kraft! Eye-catching and inspiring, all!
