From the Heart

October 1 is WCMD & the start of a new challenge at PBSC. Here's my card that I hope inspires you to join us.  I used 3 images & a sentiment from PB's "every happiness"--a beautiful set from 2013. I tried several techniques, but ended up by inking 3 panels with Distress Inks.  Then the images were stamped in Versafine Vintage Sepia several times using my Mini MISTI. I die cut them with AJVD Polka Dot Backdrop Rectangle & finally figured out an arrangement I liked.  After stamping the sentiment I dry embossed the card front with a Tim Holtz folder. Pearls are probably my favorite embellishment--yes, I know, sequins are in.
Hopefully my blogging friend is a bit old-fashioned like me--haha!  I'm entering SSS Wednesday & Word Art Wednesday.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

  10. Sequins seem to fall off easier than pearls do, so you keep marching to the beat of your own trombonist. Great card! I'd be inspired if I weren't so sick. What did I make for WCMD? Lots of snot.

  13. Great choice of colors used together and the layout is so eye catching. I really like this fall card and the leaves. I thought those were metal embellishments, not pearls. I will NEVER run out of sequins! I think they multiply in my drawer.
