More Die Cuts

I have 2 cards to share today.  First is my entry for Ellen Hutson Mix It Up with Winnie & Walter. I've been wanting to back die cuts with glitter & finally did. Yellow is not one of my go to colors, but I do love black & yellow together.
Gave me a good chance to use my very old Art Institute Banana glitter.  The EH Bold Blossoms die cuts were inlaid back into the black panel. The top layer of my well-loved W&W hello die is also covered with the glitter.  I white embossed a sentiment from an old Hero Arts set called Happiness Messages.  I added yellow Stickles to the centers of PPP Sparkling Clear sequins--something I learned from Stephanie's MFT videos.  I'm also entering HLS Anything Goes with Dies, SSS Wednesday (wild with all that sparkle!) & W&W Rerun No. 13 (inspired by Gayatri's yellow blooms).

Next is my card for MFT Camp Create, Monochromatic Magic.
I sponged scraps with 3 green Distress Inks: evergreen bough, lucky clover & cracked pistachio. MFT Layered Leaves were cut from the 2 darker colors, brushed with WOS & mounted to the light green panel cut at an angle. The sentiment from MFT PI Make a Wish was stamped in the darkest color multiple times using my Mini MISTI. Finished off by mounting the panel with fun foam & adding some PPP marshmallow sequins.  I'm also entering Word Art Wednesday & CropStop. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
Edited to add: Time is running out so I am also entering this card in the MFT Summer Camp Awesome Ombre challenge.

  6. These are both just fab. I love that bannana glitter and filling the sequins is new to me but looks great and adds just a bit more glitter. I love that leaf die and those colors blended so beautifully.

  11. I like these both. I like the black with yellow inlay. I like that it is glittered too even if the mere thought of loose glitter makes me want to itch. I really like the 3 leaves card for its layout and the tone on tone leaves.
