Embossing with Dies

I seldom think to emboss with my dies, so was glad to see that technique as part of MFT Summer Camp--Divine Dry Embossing.
I've never embossed an image die, so decided to give it a try. MFT Medium Leafy Flourish was embossed into a piece of Bristol paper & then I went to work with my Zigs.  At first I thought it might end up in the trash, but when it was all finished I liked the arty look & it's already in the mail.
You can kind of see the dry embossing in the close up. The sentiment is from MFT Peaceful Wildflowers.  Still hoping to get the rest of the Summer Camp cards completed. Check out the great videos for lots of inspiration! I'm also entering CropStop, HLS Anything Goes with Dies & Word Art Wednesday. Thanks so much for stopping by.
