Glittered Thanks

I was really happy to see that Taylored Expressions started a challenge as I have plenty on my wishlist. My schedule hasn't allowed me to play along until now & it's already Share Joy Challenge #6. I need to send a thank you card to a blogging friend & knew
I wanted to use the little die TE sent as a free gift with the embossing folder I ordered last year. I cut it out of self-adhesive fun foam & covered it with Elizabeth Craft Sweet Basil glitter which becomes super sparkly & smooth when burnished.  The doily & leaves are MFT & the embossing folder is Darice.  I'm slowly using up this beautiful plaid paper I've had for years. Finished off with 3 green Dew Drops for embellishment.  I'll also enter at SSS Monday (Autumn) & Pixies Snippets Playground.  Thanks so much for stopping by.

    I love those leaves in the same pretty plaid paper and that doily is my next purchase. It makes me think of the spirograph the boys had when they were little. Beautiful card.
