The current Impression Obsession challenge is to use your favorite technique. I love emboss resist, so began by white embossing IO Crochet Snowflake 2, E13064, & then sponged on Distress Ink salty ocean & picked raspberry. The panel was dry embossed with dots & then sprayed with Therm-O-Web Glimmer Dust--my new favorite! I wish you could see the wonderful shimmer, but nothing I've tried makes it show in a picture. Merry, Bright & Cozy, D8307, is silver embossed & mounted at an angle with foam tape.
The silver dots are pretty flat, so this card can be mailed without extra postage. I'm also entering the challenges at Simon Says Stamp, Monday and Simon Says Stamp, Wednesday.
Thanks for stopping by--your visit is much appreciated.
Edited to add: Also entering the challenge at Die-Cut Divas.

Hello Greta,
ReplyDeleteI always love the addition of the colour blue on Christmas cards, it is not traditional but it still has a Christmas feel, and your embossing looks wonderful.

Beautiful card! Love Dina's snowflakes!! My local stamp store just had a 'make and take' project using two different sizes of her snowflakes. Of course the stamps were sold out by the time I got off of work and was able to go to it. :) Waiting for the special yearly Thanksgiving sale! Back to your card, love the colors too and with the silver. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
