Same Stamps, Different Styles

I made a CAS card with stitching for CAS-ual Fridays challenge (posted on Flickr with minutes to spare!) The challenge theme at Merry Monday was my inspiration & I decided it'd be fun to make another card with more of an elegant style. The stamp set is Penny Black's crystalline, 30-018. The fancy gray mat is stamped with diamond pattern, 400-169. Here are both cards.  Do you have a favorite?

By the way, I think I've finally found a white gel pen that works--Uniball Signo. Two busy days at work & looking forward to the weekend. I know, I only worked 2 days so shouldn't complain--LOL! I do appreciate all your sweet comments--thank you for visiting my blog.
Edited to add: Entering this in the challenge at Penny Black and More.

  1. Oh I do like the card with the bow! Bows always win me over! I can't wait to get going on Christmas and winter themed cards. Hope you have a great weekend, Greta!!

  2. Both cards are beautiful, Greta! I love the soft curves of the first one and the die cut edged mat of the second. Any card with blue and white is so appealing to me. BTW - your card at PB today is gorgeous, too.

  10. Both are lovely. I might have been watching too many KWerner videos, but my fave is the one with the white dash lines.

  12. These are both lovely Greta. I like to do that with my stamps too...I love to see the different ways to use and stretch their design. I agree with you....the Uniball is the best but I have found that I have to store it on it's side to keep it from clogging and drying up!

  13. Hmmm, hard to pick. The CAS part of me says the first one but then I love the bow on the 2nd one. Love the addition of gray to the blue & white too.

  14. Oh my, your *challenge* asking us to consider a favourite is too challenging for me:they're both beautiful! Frames, snowflakes, silver, blue, bow, stitching - you've combined these elements wonderfully! Inspiration yet again!!
