I wanted to play along with the CASology word "pumpkin", but didn't finish in time. Thanksgiving always seems to be here before I'm ready, so good to have another card done anyway. I bought this Tim Holtz embossing folder after using it for a Make-N-Take a couple years ago. Kraft & Delicata Golden Glitz inks were sponged on the piece. Not sure why it looks greenish in the picture. I scored a couple lines above & below the embossing & wrapped them with twine. The sentiment is by Impression Obsession.
I'm adding this to the The Thanksgiving Collection. So glad you took time to visit my blog.
Love the embossing withthe subtle color.
ReplyDeleteWell and truly CAS Greta, I love the Kraft.

Looks stunning Greta. The combination of the gold ink and the embossing is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card, Greta!
ReplyDeleteOoh I bet the panel has beautiful shimmer IRL! Love how you paired the gold with the kraft base.
ReplyDeleteI adore the way you used twine on this card. SO classy!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of the inking over embossing! Simple & lovely :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful CAS card! I'm sure it looks beautiful in person with the sponged gold, but I like it in green, too! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty card! I've not seen an embossing folder like this before - and wow, impressive! I'm with Cheryl: the gold must be gorgeous, but the 'green' shade is lovely, too!

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice embossing folder! I don't believe I'd seen that one before. It makes a wonderful Thanksgiving card!
ReplyDeleteThe inking over the embossing is lovely! I love the bit of twine too:)
ReplyDeleteStunning!!! The embossed panel is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorites of all your cards Greta. It's really beautiful. I love the twine borders. I imagine it is beautiful with the Golden Glitz ink, but it looks gorgeous as green too! It's funny how shimmery inks react with the camera and show up as the wrong color, but it happens to me all the time.
ReplyDeleteI've had a really busy summer, but I I'm getting more time to visit now. It's good to be back seeing what all my favorite cardmakers are doing!
Ohmygosh, how did I miss this card! It's gorgeous, and you've used that embossing folder so beautifully. I particularly like the twine, though. It's fuzziness adds the perfect detail to the card!
