CAS Thanksgiving Card

I wanted to play along with the CASology word "pumpkin", but didn't finish in time.  Thanksgiving always seems to be here before I'm ready, so good to have another card done anyway.  I bought this Tim Holtz embossing folder after using it for a Make-N-Take a couple years ago. Kraft & Delicata Golden Glitz inks were sponged on the piece. Not sure why it looks greenish in the picture. I scored a couple lines above & below the embossing & wrapped them with twine. The sentiment is by Impression Obsession.
I'm adding this to the The Thanksgiving Collection. So glad you took time to visit my blog.

  18. This is one of my favorites of all your cards Greta. It's really beautiful. I love the twine borders. I imagine it is beautiful with the Golden Glitz ink, but it looks gorgeous as green too! It's funny how shimmery inks react with the camera and show up as the wrong color, but it happens to me all the time.

I've had a really busy summer, but I I'm getting more time to visit now. It's good to be back seeing what all my favorite cardmakers are doing!

  19. Ohmygosh, how did I miss this card! It's gorgeous, and you've used that embossing folder so beautifully. I particularly like the twine, though. It's fuzziness adds the perfect detail to the card!
