Next is a card for hubby which I can use for our anniversary or as a Valentine, thanks to Poppystamps theme of I Love You.
I've always liked the color combo red, white & gray. I had just enough of the gray cardstock to cover the card front & I used one of my million white scraps to die cut Poppystamps Triple Heart Twirl.
I backed it with a piece of red metallic cardstock I've been hoarding & white embossed the sentiment from Poppystamps Grateful Heart. Love the little heart embellishments from Gina K & thought the white one was just right for this card. I'm also entering The Snippets Playground & Double D.
Finally, here's my entry for Pinkfresh Studio's Alphas/Words challenge. I love PFS Classic Holiday Words dies & Delicate Wreath. Decided to try coloring directly on the wreath with 2 green Altenew watercolor markers.
I put the wreath in my Misti, colored random parts of the wreath, spritzed with water & stamped. I repeated the process multiple times until I was happy. Gotta say, the markers worked great for the technique! The panel was dry embossed with Spellbinders Floral embossing folder & spritzed with gold glimmer mist--so beautiful in person!
I die cut the sentiment from Tim Holtz red glitter cardstock & the shadow from vellum stacked 2 high. Finished off with gold adhesive dots & a green mat. This was really fun to make & I love how it turned it!
I am always amazed at your diversity, every card is different, every card is beautiful and special in its own way.

Your output is amazing Greta. I love the Memory Box card in soft purples. The Love you always card is crisp and modern looking. Finally the wreath, which looks fresh and delicate against the embossed background. Inspiring, as always.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of cards Greta, all very different and all stunning. You are right about the red, white and grey, it looks stunning and I bet the shine from the metallic red is very special in real life. Love the soft inking of your wreath too xx
ReplyDeleteSuper cards Greta. I love the hearts and that they are fluttering. Your wreath is lovely in the two tones and that square purple card is just darling.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards! I love the frame on your butterfly card, the heart die is beautiful (and I love your colour combo) and then a pretty wreath which you are so good at.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, Greta! You always make the most beautifully feminine cards, Jo x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Greta - I love all of them - the gray, red etc. on your card for hubby is so eye catching! Dudley has had just four nails clipped by us as a team today - he puts up a jolly good fight for an 8 kg little dog! Tomorrow we're going to try 'wrangling' in a gentle way. Get him on his back lying down my tummy and thighs as I sit on a sofa and see if that helps.
