I'm on Dad's lap & my sister is behind Grandmother. My parents were sure the baby would be another girl, so they hadn't even picked out boy names. Took about a week to decide on Lance.
I used SSS Snowflake Block die to make a simple Christmas card. The die cut was spritzed heavily with glitter spray & put back into place in the white panel which I backed with silver cardstock.

The sentiment from W&W Snowy Holiday was stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne & I added some matte silver sequins. Edited to add: almost forgot to enter Rudolph Days.
I made a pink Valentine using Stamplorations Heart Tumbled stencil. 
I started by blending Distress Oxide spun sugar & worn lipstick onto a white panel. Then I inked through the stencil using picked raspberry & stamped the old MFT sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne. I inked the AJVD die cut hearts using the same inks. I'm entering Stamplorations January stencil challenge, The Snippets Playground & WAW.
What a treasure memory Greta. Two beautiful cards today. Love the simplicity of the snowflake card and love the pretty hearts on the second one.

Makes me think, too, that there is nothing like actual photos and albums to hold in your lap and go through. We don't have those any more.

OH! Greta I truly feel your pain. A Beautiful photo which means so much in many ways. Your cards are so beautiful, your snowflake die is gorgeous and with the silver - wonderful. I love your heart card, lovely background and layering and the black strip sets it all off, so beautiful.

They say if you haven't loved someone then you never know the real pain of losing them. I'm so very saddened about Lance - and you still have other things going on I believe. Crafting can be an escape and you made two lovely cards here. What a wonderful family photo as well - sending you love.
