Distress Oxide Glazed Poinsettia

I love poinsettias & several of my friends made gorgeous cards for the Merry Monday challenge.  Unfortunately, I didn't get the post done in time to enter, but I used the MFT Sketch, so will enter there.
Jennifer McGuire's video using DO inks, glossy cardstock & Distress Micro Glaze inspired me.  We happened to be in the town with a Michael's on Friday, so I used my 50% off coupon to get the glaze.  Must say, my results aren't as striking as Jennifer's.  It could be my very old glossy cardstock doesn't work the same as the TH AI cardstock she used.  I'm still happy with my card which goes into the "to be sent" box & not the "to be torn apart" box, so that's good--haha!
The MFT poinsettia die set is one of my favorites.  I love it cut from felt, cardstock or designer paper.  The inks I used are worn lipstick, abandoned coral & cracked pistachio.  Two of the black die cut frames were on my table, so I layered them for a bit of dimension--really didn't need foam tape to my eye.  Before attaching the frame I masked the inside area so I could brush worn lipstick through the MFT stencil.  I also stamped the word from an old HA set using my Mini MISTI to be sure I didn't mess it up.  Then mounted the poinsettia & added a big, clear gem.  That, of course, keeps the card from being flat, but it was just the look I wanted--worth it!
I'm also entering HLS Christmas, The Snippets Playground, SSS Wednesday & WAW.  Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.
Edited to add: Also entering SSS National Craft Month.
