Color Wheel Card

Lexi has a fun challenge this week for PTI MIM: Color Wheel Cards.  A long time ago I bought PTI Guide Lines from another blogger, but it seldom gets used.  Decided to pull it out for this challenge & I really had fun stamping.
Lining up everything in my Mini MISTI made it super easy.  I stamped each color as many times as I needed to get them close to the same intensity.  The yellow is Memento Dandelion & the rest are from PTI: Enchanted Evening, New Leaf, Amethyst Allure, Summer Sunrise & Hibiscus Burst.  It did take some time experimenting with various inks to come up with my final choices.  Originally I stamped the sentiment from wonderful Words: Hello in black ink directly on the panel, but it was way too blah.  That led to an inlaid black circle frame, a white embossed sentiment on a stacked black circle die cut & a tiny layer of black showing on all 4 sides.  I needed to keep it pretty flat for mailing overseas, so just added a tiny clear gem to each image.  Simple, but cheery & hopefully it will bring a smile when the recipient opens it.  I'm also entering CAS-ual Fridays & SSS Monday (Rainbow of colors).
Edited to add: Also entering SSS National Craft Month.
