It really felt like we'd known each other for years. We enjoyed a LONG lunch just chatting away. Good thing the place wasn't busy! I wasn't able to meet up with my other Indy friends, so guess I'll just have to go back--haha!
CARD BY DAWN MCVEY |
I used her color combo of Raspberry Fizz & red--my ink is Memento Love Letter. The sentiment is from PTI Peaceful Poinsettia & the die cuts are from Twig Wreath. I brushed them with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens & the black dot is Pico Embellisher. Nuvo drops are used in the background & the sentiment panel is die cut with AJVD Polka Dot Rectangle Backdrop. Thanks for your visits while I was gone & for your patience as I catch up. I'm also entering ATSM, CropStop, Penny Black & More & Word Art Wednesday.
Welcome home Greta and so pleased you had a good trip.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a very striking card today, the contrast in colour works so well and it's perfect for our theme this month, many thanks for joining us at Penny Black and More challenge.

Hi Greta, I'm glad to hear you had a great trip and it must have been very special meeting up with your friend. I met a pen friend on a trip to the USA some years ago now. We'd been writing for about 10 years so like you I felt I knew hew and had no doubt we'd get on. Isn't it lovely though to be able to have a real hug. Lovely photos and a very pretty card. It will be lovely to see your lovely cards again soon. Barbxx
