Again I used self adhesive fun foam & Elizabeth Craft glitter. The frame is Sizzix, embossing folder is Tim Holtz & ink is VersaMagic Jumbo Java. I'm also playing along with Alexandra's challenge for ScrapRDV "Chez Nous"-Frame It, SSS Monday & SSS Work It Wednesday.
Edited picture of card as it really needed a bigger cluster of flowers & leaves.
I've always loved gold & pastels, but in the last few years I discovered how beautiful they are together.
The new CAS-ual Fridays challenge is to make a feminine birthday card in celebration of CFS 5th birthday. I gold embossed an image from CFS Casual Elegance, my first CFS stamp set. I masked around the image & blended VersaMagic Pixie Dust & Spring Pansy. The leaves were colored by brushing on gold Shimmer Spritz & Delicata Golden Glitz ink.
The left over mixture was splattered over the panel & I brushed the inked area with Perfect Pearls. The sentiment from the same set was also gold embossed, as were the panel edges. May have to make more of these in different colors & with different sentiments. I'm also entering CAS Mix Up, CCCB (Pixie Dust ink & the image reminds me of Jack in the Beanstock--yes, a stretch--haha!) & Double D. Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

So amazingly different designs in each of these pretty cards. Love all the kraft & white, with the scribble foam roses (I keep forgetting to check for the sticky back foam!) It certainly added such dimension to those flowers. Like all the texture & the pretty design on this chunkier card. The delicacy of the pink & gold on #2 is just so feminine. Love the gold petals and leaves...looks beautiful with the pastel pink. TFS & Have a grant week.
