Warm Wishes for Fall
I missed the last SSS Flickr challenge, but when I saw the new theme is emboss resist I had to play along. It's definitely one of my favorite techniques. I used stamps from SSS Warm Wishes with Distress Inks spiced marmalade, fossilized amber & peeled paint. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa which was also used to ink the mat. Finished off with Dew Drops (a prize from Pixies Snippets Playground) using a Copic to make a clear one match the spiced marmalade. I used Fall colors to enter the challenge at City Crafter Challenge Blog & my stamping (a set from last year's STAMPtember) lets me enter at SSS Monday. ReplyDeleteAnother trio of colours that captured fall's splendor beautifully! I rarely use the emboss resist technique, since embossing causes me to fret. Seeing your astounding results, though, is inspiring...may have to try again...
