Let Your Soul Take Wings

I love Impression Obsession products, so always try to play along in their challenges.  The stamps I've used were at a class I took over 5 years ago--just couldn't leave the store without them! Good thing since the current IO challenge is Feathered Friends.  That same store had gorgeous designer papers & this is one of them by Fancy Pants. Finally cut into it since both sides were just what I needed for this design.  That lets me enter Darnell's NBUS challenge #5--lots of prizes up for grabs!  IO Nest Collage (F13050) was stamped on heavy weight PTI vellum using Memento Rich Cocoa. The beautiful IO sentiment, Let Your Soul (D13038) is stamped in PTI Berry Sorbet & mounted with foam tape.  I knotted 3 strands of twine--think it goes with the nest. Actually this card is pretty flat, but may require extra postage due to size.  I'm going to link up at City Crafter Challenge Blog & CAS-ual Chic.     Beautiful card! The first thing that I saw was that gorgeous paper. Then the sentiment, then the image. The sentiment is lovely and I like how you did the knot with twine. Great job.

    So pretty! I like IO dies...I must have a ton of them. I love the stamps you used, I don't have any IO stamps,though. Our local craft store only carries the dies. Haven't been to your blog in a while...off to check it out!

    Greta, where does the time go...just getting around to catching up with everyone since my friend left town. Linda and I had a blast, she was here for 9 days and we played hard and long every single day! Now life is back to normal...watching granddaughter play varsity VB, grandson play tackle football...life goes on! Beautiful card you made! I have two IO stamps and LOVE and use them both often!! ps...love your camping pictures!!
