I began by coloring Penny Black's glory of modesty stamp with metallic Gelatos: mint & blueberry. I spritzed liberally with water & pressed it onto watercolor paper. Then I added splatters of the same colors. The shimmer is beautiful in person. The panel was die cut with SSS A2 Curved Edge twice & the pieces were attached to a gray textured card. The sentiment from Penny Black friendship set was black embossed on the card front & 3 MS butterflies punched from vellum & embellished with black enamel dots finish off my card. Hope you'll check out the great work of my teammates & join the challenge. You could even make it a twofer by also entering the new challenge starting July 10 at CAS-ual Chic!
Taking this card over to Anything Goes at Addicted to Stamps. Thank you so much for taking time to visit my blog.
Lovely card with awesome background!
ReplyDeleteI think Papi would be scared of the fire works, he is afraid of the thunder last night. We don't do fire works here at home, so I am sure he will be fine.
This is beautiful. I love that stamp and the gelatos make such a gorgeous background. The curves add so much interest and the sentiment fits right in there. I hope Fritz is okay with the fireworks. There are about eight places around here that set them off and I have to take Molly out by 9 pm before they really get going or she is afraid. They don't bother her in the house.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card my Friend, love that double die cut edge wonderful design.
ReplyDeleteHello Greta,
ReplyDeleteThere is only one word that can sufficiently describe this card and that is gorgeous, your Blue palette with the complimentary Grey (Gray) is a Wow.
Smiles:)
