Sending Sunshine

PTI8-sketch-inspiration-2
PTI8-color-inspiration-7

It's taken me forever to get my first card made for the PTI 8th Anniversary challenges. I wanted to start with the Day One Color & Sketch Challenge. It happens that I have all the inks for the 7th combo, so started with that. I like all the sketches, but couldn't figure out how to make my images work. Eventually I settled on the second sketch & using the cute flower from Flower Fusion #9 & stem from Flower Fusion #8 on PTI Vintage Cream cardstock. I added Stickles to the centers for some sparkle. The hello die (Wet Paint Cuts) is from my friend, Martha, & now it's on my wishlist!  I used direct to paper to color it with Harvest Gold.  The sentiment from Tag-Its #3 is stamped in VersaMagic Gingerbread.
Hard to see, but I stamped an image from Background Basics: Geometrics in Classic Kraft on the card front. Twine & a button finish it off. I'm also entering SSS Wednesday Bright & Beautiful, City Crafter Challenge You Matter & Die Cut Divas sentiments.  Thanks so much for stopping by.
