Card Made in 20 minutes |
Remake |
Couldn't resist taking another picture today of our neighbor's gorgeous tree with so much more color than 10 days ago! We even have rain in the forecast, so I know Fall is on the way & cooler temps will certainly be welcome at this house!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend & thanks for visiting.
Greta I love both cards! The first is fresh clean and simple while the redo is a bit snappier!! Hubby's daughter will love this. We don't have much fall color yet. A warm beautiful day here today. Our late evening walk with Max was divine!!
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty cards Greta! No fall foliage here in the desert! Our roses and hibiscus are in full bloom ~ we have 100 degree temps for nearly another 3 weeks or so
ReplyDeleteAwwwwwww Love the beautiful roses and your lovely card too!
ReplyDeleteLove your remake Greta. It really enhances the stamping. Your roses look stunning. And the fall colours are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteBeutiful Card and beautiful Photos!
ReplyDeleteLove this card, Greta. And, the photo of your neighbor's tree is beautiful. The leaves are just beginning to turn in a few spots here; there will soon be some glorious colors around me!
ReplyDeletethe original card is lovely, but I really like that you took it up a notch and created the second even lovelier card with it! oh and the roses are just beautiful! the trees are starting to turn and fall here, too... hoping it stays dry for a little while longer so the little guy and I get the fun of crunching through them on our walks to school!
ReplyDeleteIt feels like a time-lapse every time I visit because of that tree! Haha! I love it! Your card is lovely, as always. I like the double image with the whisper of color in the back. I wish I had the talent to be a gardener, but I am not patient enough, sadly.
ReplyDeleteOh, roses are gone for the season!! I'm with Mona - still have warm weather and lots of flowers!! But what beautiful ones on your mantle next to your precious mom and dad!! I love your beautiful cards and love the two styles with the wonderful image and beautiful colors! Hugs, sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Greta, both of them :)
ReplyDeleteHi Greta, I love your mantle with the roses and pictures, very beautiful. Lovin the fresh aqua color on your card. Wonderful my friend♥
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card, I love the twine! Your roses are so lovely, too!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful, the roses by your Mom and Dad...very moving indeed. I see a lot of you in your Daddy my Friend! Your card is perfect in every way!
ReplyDeleteHugs~
Hello Greta! I think both versions of your card are lovely. It is good that you are enjoying your roses - they are beautiful. I'll have to send you an email this week and catch up. Hope you have been well.
ReplyDeleteGreat colors in your card.
ReplyDeleteLove the original and the remake :) just a little change in the design creates such a pretty look. I love the fall colors. Trees here too have started to change colors :)
ReplyDeleteI tested roses for Jackson and Perkins years ago. I had a yard full of originals not available anywhere. I love them. Alas they are all gone now.
ReplyDeleteYour card is great for a last minute creation. - Jim
So pretty....great job on the generation stamping.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you got your love of flowers from your mom. Your roses are lovely and that is a perfect place to display them. I love your quick card and the additions you made really glammed it up. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteThose roses are absolutely gorgeous - and what a perfect place to have them!
ReplyDeleteI love the stamping on your card (gorgeous colour!) and oh, fall. Once it starts it seems to escalate quickly! We were almost ready to get the furnace on last week with temps falling below zero at night - and then yesterday? 24C. lol
Greta your roses are beautiful. I loved your scramble card in the gallery, and wow, I also love your remake...See you Saturday Night for your scramble!
ReplyDeleteLove these, Greta! Such a beautiful color!
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are gorgeous Greta! Love the colours too.

Both cards are lovely ,Greta...love the colours! Your vase of roses, placed next to your mom and dad's photos...sooooo touching! Love that you've given them a special place on your mantle. The tree...oh, how resplendent it is, in its fall colours....
ReplyDeleteHugs~c
Greta...sorry to be so far behind in commenting. This is so so pretty and 19 rose bushes in your front yard...oh my goodness. How nice to be able to have fresh roses all the time.
