Double Delight Tree Rose |
On to my card done with Gelatos on watercolor paper. I spritzed the flower panel, the background & the lace with Tattered Angels Wheatfields.
The background piece was done by applying the Gelatos directly to the C-A-C Spatter & the swirl in the Follow Your Heart set which also contains the quote I embossed using Memento Olive Grove. The spatter
is stamped on the kraft card using Distress Ink frayed burlap.
Fritz was ready to play when I got home from work yesterday. Hard to get him to stay still long enough for a picture! Hope you have a great week & thank you for checking my blog.

ReplyDeleteWow Greta! Don't know how i missed this beauty! What a stunning card! Love your beautiful rose garden!
ReplyDeleteWow, 60 rose bushes is a lot to care for! The one in your pic is gorgeous; I'm a sucker for the two-toned ones. And your card is beautiful! I have gelatos now but haven't done much with them. Fritz is such a cutie! Looks like he's grown a lot.
ReplyDeleteI think I might have swallowed my tongue with that gasp, Great! This card is extraordinary! Really extraordinary!
ReplyDeleteGoodness, sixty roses is a ton of roses! Mine (only three!) are gone now, too; just kept getting diseases. One of them was the double delight. That's such a singularly fragrant and gorgeous rose.
Awesome photo of you and the Fritz! Lovely to see him growing up and seeing you so happy with him! I'm sorry I've been a bad bloggie friend with my lack of visiting. Between the class and gardening and this and that, the days are over too quickly! Hopefully, things will slow down a bit soon and I can get back into my routine of visiting! Hugs, Darnell
