Note Card for a Friend

My new flannel sheets & kitchen towels are shades of blue & gray. They inspired my card for the Dynamic Duos and ODBD challenges. My stamps are by ODBD: Vintage Border Background & Little Things.  A friend is facing surgery & I thought this might make her smile.  My inks are Memento Teal Zeal and Brilliance Starlite Black. Love the softness vellum gives to a mat.  Have quite a stash of paper flowers & decided I better start using them, especially since this bottle included these blue ones that are a great match.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Your card will definitely lift your friend's spirits, as it certainly has done with mine! The shades of blue and grey create such a sense of comfort: they work beautifully on your card, and I can only imagine how pretty they are as part of your home decor. The vellum and cluster of flowers are the perfect special touches! thoughtful, heart-warming, gorgeous! What a wonderful friend you are!! Hugs ~ c
