We finally had some rain & cooler temperatures--a sign that Fall is coming. Still have a couple more days at the lake planned before the end of the season as the sun is supposed to be back tomorrow. Thinking ahead a bit, I pulled out my MFT Thankful Leaves stamp set & dies to make my card for this week's sketch challenge. The die cut leaves were brayered with Autumn Leaves rainbow pad, dry embossed & sponged with Delicata Golden Glitz. The script was stamped & then I added a wash of inks using my waterbrush (inspired by Alexandra) & sponged the edges with the Golden Glitz. The leaves were stamped on the card front in VersaMark & sponged with Golden Glitz.
Can you tell I love that ink?! Sorry it doesn't really show in the picture. Finished off with pearls & twine. Thanks for stopping by--your comments are always an encouragement.

ReplyDeleteGreta, this is stunning! The fall colors are so restful after the bright tones of summer. Somehow I've missed some of your blog posts; I am off to catch up! The gold accents add so much!!
ReplyDeleteI am so excited about creating fall and Christmas cards. Love this leafy design. you are so talented miss Greta :) have a great day!!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou've captured beautifully the ravishing colours of fall with your card of leaves. Yes, the crisp air is here, too and each day seems the trees shed their green for orange and red. We have temperatures in the 80s schedule for the rest of the week and into next - so summer continues to hang on. The cool nights though are a relief! It won't be long before the down quilt comes out. Cozy is nice! Thank you for your warm comments on my blog; your thoughtfulness adds so much delight to my days!!
