PTI MIM is celebrating their 100th video, so the prize is a $100 gift certificate! Couldn't let that go by without giving it a try. I started with an A2 kraft card & my Lovely Layers stamp set & dies. I love Brilliance inks & had 2 new ones sitting on my table--Pearlescent Rust & Pearlescent Lime, so decided to use them--not a combo I've ever done before, but good to stretch one's self--LOL! For the little detail stamp on the "leaves" & the sentiment I used Pearlescent Chocolate. I shaped the die cuts with my fingers to add some dimension & they are attached together & to the card with foam tape. The center embellishments are Mark Richards Cream Mosaic stickers. Since the images go beyond the edges of the card, I used a larger envelope--5 1/4 x 7 1/4--one of the solutions in the video. I added a little stamping--still plenty of room to write since it's so big. This card could go to all of you since I really am grateful for your kindness, encouragement & friendship.

ReplyDeleteHi, Greta!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what it is about "kraft" cardstock, that makes me STOP and take a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th look! I absolutely LOVE this BEAUTY you've created! You've used the Lovely Layers stamp & die set SO beautifully! (I have that same set, & have yet to use it.) I love the way you've curled the ends of the flowers! It's a very NICE touch! AND...the one rounded corner, is the PERFECT finishing touch! (I love doing this with cards!) I think it really adds to the uniqueness & beauty of the card. Love the matching envelope. Great job!
Thanks for the inspiration!
