Another chance to win Flourishes May Release HERE & I love purple, so wanted to enter a card. Had to keep it simple, so I white embossed this sweet image from Botanical Bookplates & used Distress Ink dusty concord & milled lavender for the resist technique. This time I focused the darker color in the middle over the image & I think it brought it to life. The Spellbinder is Labels 22 & I used vellum for the mat. The sentiment is from the same set. The panels are mounted with foam tape & I finished it off with Stickles, gems & the white textured ribbon tied in a bow.
I've reached a milestone--25 followers! Thanks to all of you for the help & encouragement. If you get a chance, check out the DeNami Blog Hop on Sunday, May 20th. This will be my second time as a participant & I'd love to have you stop by. (Fortunately, Emily pointed out the correct date of the Hop. At least I'll be ready & not stressed at the last minute--LOL!)
Hello Greta
ReplyDeleteI think the SB labels look wonderful on this card, I may have to get these!!!!
Your embossed flowers look great against the Purple, and I love the sentiment at the bottom.
Smiles:)

Very pretty Greta. The dark purple really makes the central image really pop.
ReplyDeleteThis is SUCH a beauty, Greta!! Those purples are lovely. Can't wait to see your creation for the DeNami Pretty Pastels blog hop--but it isn't until May 20th, a week from Sunday. Just wanted to mention that so you don't get frustrated if no one shows up (yet!). It's going to be a fun hop, don't you think? I still need to make my project, though!!!
