Christmas in July

Thanks for the well wishes for my guys.  Both are doing better today, so life is getting back to normal.  As normal as it can be until hubby gets back to doing the shopping & errands--haha!
I did finally finish a card just in time for Impression Obsession Christmas in July.  Being that Christmas cards are my favorite, I couldn't miss this challenge!
The IO branch (DIE021-N) was cut from watercolor paper I smooshed with DI evergreen bough, pine needles & iced spruce.  For sparkle I used my Gelly Roll Clear Star pen & added some silver & clear sequins.
I tied on silver thread before attaching it to the panel stamped with the sentiment from IO Vintage Ornaments in Delicata Silvery Shimmer.  Fun foam was used for dimension before mounting the panel to a white card.  I like this basic design & want to try something similar with some of my stamps.  I'm also entering HLS Christmas & WAW.  Thanks so much for taking time to stop by.

I would like to try this design too///It would lend well to inking and then die cutting up a slew of branches and then having a batch baking session!
