Beginning and Ending

Life is full of beginnings and endings.  Today marks both for me as I post my last DT card for PBSC and my first card for VOSP 2018.
Penny Black Saturday Challenge
I've enjoyed trying to inspire fellow bloggers every month at PBSC, but felt it was time to step down from the DT.  Lori is so sweet to once again ask me to be on her team for VOSP--I'm so honored.  I don't make many cards with no stamping, but the beautiful PB Winter Wreath die can stand alone.

I began by embossing the die on a panel of kraft cardstock & then I cut it from another piece.  I added a bit of Stickles & glued it into place, leaving the ends free except for the holly leaves at the top.  I layered 2 red sequins & filled the center with more Stickles.
Red, kraft & white is a favorite color combo for the holidays and it's great to make use of this beautiful candy cane paper.  I added Stickles to the narrow red lines & it really does make a difference in person.  I'd love to see your holiday PB cards in the PBSC gallery this month.  There are prizes to be won for leaving comments on the VOSP blogs & you can enter cards for the VOSP Challenge.  You need to follow Lori's instructions HERE to be in the running.  You must leave a comment on Lori's blog stating you want to be included in the prize drawing.  Enjoy all the inspiration on both blogs & good luck with the drawings!

  1. I know they will miss you Greta and you have a unique style using PB's, but as my MIL always said, "one door closes and another one opens". It's a gorgeous card using the seasonal foliage die.

  8. I've fallen behind in commenting, but will address that soon! Popping in here to say that you'll be very much missed at PB, but other doors will certainly open for you (Happy Little Stampers may have DT calls soon...hint, hint). Your wreath, in kraft, paired with the red/white paper, is absolutely gorgeous! LOVE this!
