Just realized as I'm getting ready for work that I'll miss the CAS-ual Fridays challenge deadline if I post this after work--gotta pay more attention! So, quick post with my card using my first CF stamp set--Casual Elegance & Penny Black Puzzle Parts. The rolled felt roses are MFT, the frame is made with a Spellbinders die & my inks are Versafine Smokey Gray & Memento Dandelion. The challenge is to have chevrons & flowers on your project--yellow grass anyone? Since flowers qualifies, I'm also entering the Simon Says Stamp challenge. Hope you're having a great day & thanks for stopping by.
Very cute Greta! I like that you kept the little scene nestled inside your frame. Aren't MFT little rolled roses the sweetest, love them to bits!!

ReplyDeleteHappy Friday, Greta - thank you SO MUCH for your comments on my chevron cards. Yes, yes, yes - do get some Alley Way Stamps! With your unique style, I think you would find them versatile: a combination of whimsical, cute, pretty...plenty of potential! Because you live in the US, you'll receive them in about 3 days (as compared to the 2-3 weeks I wait), and if you spend $40 (three sets), shipping is free (for you) and sometimes there's a bonus set included. They're really quite awesome. Paper Smooches is wonderful, too and they have dies...Enjoy your day!
