My heart goes out to those affected by the flooding in the Pacific Northwest. We are very fortunate not to have any trouble at our house, even though we're in the flood plane.
I seldom miss a PTI MIM challenge & this week I HAD to participate with the challenge being Embellishing with Felt. Hard to believe now, but when I first saw felt used in stamping magazines I wasn't impressed. Eventually I thought it might be OK for snowflakes & then the bug hit me & I bought about 20 different colors to use for everything! Today's card uses the PTI Twig Wreath stamps & dies. I love that it works for any occasion--just vary the colors. The inks are Brilliance Pearlescent Chocolate (also used for splatters) & Poppy (second generation) along with PTI Spring Rain & Fine Linen. Decided a sentiment would detract, so just put it inside. Only a couple more Christmas cards to make & mail--feels good! I'm entering Lori's Christmas/Winter Challenge #2 & CASE-ing Christmas Anything Winter Holiday (challenge closing), Dies R Us Christmas Challenge, SSS Monday, Time Out Challenges photo inspiration & Twofers. Thanks so much for stopping by.
I love that you used felt for your wreath. Makes it very "touchable"! Thanks so much for joining us at CASE-ing Christmas!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful wreath, Greta, all decked out with felt die cuts. Yes, we lucked out Friday because our property was being threatened Thursday. Live on a lake and the water just kept rising...our dock was almost under water and definitely over our bulkhead. Eager for some sunshine to dry things up a bit. We just faced a drought this summer...so bizarre.
ReplyDeleteI love this! Thanks for sharing at CASE-ing Christmas.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!💕
ReplyDeleteStunning card! That circle is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing with us at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!!
ReplyDeleteYour felt wreath is lovely, Greta! I'd love to try die-cutting with felt, but don't have a place here to buy any of 'quality'. On the shopping list for our next trek to the 'big city.' My cards are pretty much done; writing a note, addressing and mailing come next. Watch your mailbox *grin* (likely it will arrive late, but hoping not!)
