I inked a maple leaf with Distress Oxides Crackling Campfire and Spiced Marmalade, spritzed with water, laid the cardstock panel on top and rubbed over it to transfer the ink. I stamped the trees from Unity's Serene Silhouettes in Versafine Clair Pinecone. The Mama Elephant die cut sentiment and the Gina K Master Layouts die cut mat were colored to match with the Pinecone ink pad. The sentiment was stacked 2 high and clear embossed. I added brown splatters using a Zig watercolor marker.
I'm entering SSS Monday and SSS Wednesday.
Edited to add: Also entering WAW.

What a great leaf print. I haven't done that technique for year. Must try and find time to give it a go again, it gives such a lovely effect xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and leaf print not done that for a couple of years thenk you for the reminder-love the stamped trees too.

Such beautiful stamping with the leaf, Greta - makes a lovely print with the bare trees!!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful autumn card!
ReplyDeleteHola Greta. M'agrada la targeta que has estampat amb una fulla de tardor i color oxid. Es un treball magnífic. Enhorabona.
ReplyDeleteUna abraçada.
Mónica.
I like the big leaf, this is pretty!
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely card Greta, really like how you interpreted the inspiration this month. Afraid I didn't get to enter, what with my own issues and then as you'll have seen Holly deteriorating so fast my time was spent elsewhere.

So lovely. Most of the trees have shed their leaves where I live. Strangely though, we still have a few cooking apples on our tree. We always leave some on for the birds. Thanks for being a link in our chain again at CCC, Jo x
ReplyDeleteWhat a great technique! I must give it a try some time. It makes for the perfect fall card, so pretty!
